📖 About World Links
Welcome to World Links — an homage to 1990s Yahoo!, back when browsing the web meant exploring and being surprised on every click. Before algorithms, filter bubbles, and ads everywhere, the web was a place where you wandered between pages, and every category was a small door into a new world. Somewhere, someone had sat down and hand-picked what was worth sharing — and by following those links, we discovered the internet at a human pace.
That's the feeling we wanted to bring back. World Links is a personal project of ours — me, Roger Morais, and my wife Le — built from Caldas da Rainha, in Portugal, and often during stops on our motorhome trips with our poodle Jolie, exploring the country and Europe. Every link here has been submitted, reviewed, and categorised by hand. No algorithm deciding what you see, no fancy tracking, no advertising. Just links sorted into categories, with tags and a short description — and the option to visit a random site whenever you feel like "surfing" the way you used to.
If you know a good site, submit it — we read every submission and approve the ones that fit. If you'd rather just explore, start with the categories, check the latest additions, or try your luck with a random site. And if you prefer Portuguese, there's also a PT version of the same directory.
Thanks for stopping by. ⚓ Happy browsing.
